Are you a licensed Michigan Pharmacy Technician who is detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment? Horizon LTC Pharmacy is looking for a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team.
In this role, you'll work alongside pharmacists and fellow pharmacy technicians to ensure medications are accurately prepared, organized, and ready for delivery to the patients we serve. QUALIFICATIONS
- Current Michigan Pharmacy Technician License required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to comply with company policies, patient protocols, governmental regulations, and the code of conduct
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Ability to complete required annual online education by designated deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn pharmacy software
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
WHAT TO EXPECT
As a Pharmacy Toting Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting our pharmacy operations by preparing, organizing, and staging medications for delivery. Working closely with pharmacists and fellow pharmacy technicians, you'll help ensure medications are accurately prepared while maintaining compliance with all pharmacy regulations and quality standards.
Responsibilities include preparing medication totes, labeling and organizing medications, checking expiration dates, assisting with inventory organization, and supporting daily pharmacy workflow to ensure timely and accurate service for our long-term care patients.
