Salary Range: $61,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Caledonia seeking HR Generalists who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for production, maintenance, and administrative roles.
• Administer employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as OSHA regulations.
• Oversee new hire onboarding, including critical safety orientations and policy training.
• Maintain accurate HR records, employee files, and HRIS data for reporting and payroll.
• Support performance management processes, including reviews and performance improvement plans.
• Coordinate and facilitate employee training programs focused on skills development and safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR Generalist experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, OSHA) and HR best practices.
• Proven ability in employee relations, conflict resolution, and talent acquisition for diverse manufacturing roles.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite for data management and reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all organizational levels.

Bonus Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish)
• Experience supporting OSHA compliance and manufacturing safety initiatives
• Exposure to labor relations or union environments
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
