Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.

• Oversee inventory levels and purchasing schedules to support production demands and minimize stockouts.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the purchasing team, setting clear objectives and performance metrics.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive purchasing management experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and contract management.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, raw materials, components, and supply chain dynamics.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.
• Proven ability to drive cost reduction initiatives and optimize supply chain efficiency.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
• Experience with international sourcing, logistics, and trade compliance
• Proficiency in advanced ERP modules for inventory optimization and demand planning
• Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM)
