JOB AD: Emergency Medical Technician
Aspen Medical has an exciting opportunity for EMTs to partner with us in providing quality medical care to patients throughout the Unites States and around the world. Today’s opportunity will allow EMTs alongside fellow team members to deliver the utmost competent care with compassion to the patient population located in the additional locations:
Jefferson, GA., Kansas City, MO., Merrillville, IN., Merrimack, NH., Nashville TN., New Braunfels TX., Oklahoma City, OK., Port Allen, LA., Salt Lake City, UT., San Antonio, TX., Scranton, PA., Shakopee, MN., Social Circle, GA., Stafford, VA., Tremont, PA.
Requirements:
Education:
- Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician Basic (NREMTB). Shall have a minimum, a current NREMTB certificate from an accredited national or state school
License:
- Must hold a current, valid, unrestricted paramedic license in one of the U.S. states, territories, commonwealths, or the District of Columbia
- Current, valid American Heart Association certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- EMTs will have an EMT registration from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT)
Experience:
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience within the past 5 years (minimum experience required to perform the job
- Knowledge in infection control, quality assurance, and OSHA/HIPAA compliance
Federal & Administrative Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for the position
- Must successfully pass a comprehensive background investigation
- Must be current on all required immunizations
- Required to complete all mandatory training and clinical skills verification within 90 days of onboarding
