Position Overview:

The Director of Marketing will serve as a senior leader within Atrium’s enterprise marketing function, partnering closely with brand leadership, operations teams, agency partners, and executive leadership to support marketing initiatives across multiple disciplines and brands.

This role is designed for a marketing generalist with strong business judgment, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to move fluidly between strategic planning and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate is highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and energized by building scalable marketing infrastructure in a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional marketing initiatives across multiple Atrium brands and business functions
  • Support brand strategy, campaign planning, creative direction, and local market activation efforts
  • Oversee development and execution of marketing content across channels including web, email, social media, sales collateral, internal communications, public relations, and promotional campaigns
  • Create and manage marketing calendars, campaign briefs, project plans, and reporting structures to support operational efficiency and accountability
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure projects are delivered on time, on brand, and aligned with business objectives
  • Develop executive-level marketing updates, presentations, reports, and communications for leadership and board-level audiences
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to marketing team members and cross-functional partners as the organization continues to scale
  • Collaborate closely with growth marketing, operations, customer experience, and leadership teams to support enterprise marketing priorities
  • Assist with website strategy, integrated campaigns, event activations, and enterprise communication initiatives
  • Adapt to evolving business priorities and support high-impact projects across the organization as needed

Qualifications:

  • 4–6 years of marketing experience across multiple disciplines including brand, content, communications, growth/performance marketing, lifecycle/CRM, web, events, or creative strategy
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience developing executive-ready communications and presentations
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across departments and leadership levels
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a growing and evolving organization
  • Experience leading projects, mentoring team members, or managing cross-functional initiatives
  • Ability to work on-site in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in home services, trades, or local service industries such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pest control, lawn care, or automotive services
  • Experience supporting multi-brand or multi-location organizations
  • Familiarity with ServiceTitan, Invoca, or similar field-service platforms
  • Experience working within a private equity-backed organization
  • Previous agency experience or experience managing agency/vendor relationships
