Job Description
Join our team as a General Production Worker in the Cabinets department, where you'll play a crucial role in constructing the insides of signs. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with the potential for overtime and great training.
Responsibilities
- Build and assemble the interior components of signs using various tools.
- Utilize hand tools, drills, and nail guns effectively.
- Perform medium to heavy lifting as required.
- Operate hand power tools safely and efficiently.
- Assemble and palletize shipments for distribution.
- Engage in pulling, packing, and loading tasks.
- Work independently as well as part of a team.
- Maintain strong teamwork and communication with colleagues.
- Ensure attention to detail in all tasks.
- 1+ year of machine operator experience in manufacturing, specifically in assembly work.
- Proficiency in using a tape measure and power drill.
- Ability to lift 20lbs to 40lbs comfortably.
- Mechanically inclined with experience using hand tools and drills.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.

Work Environment
Our facility is a warehouse environment with distinct areas for manufacturing, shipping/receiving, assembly, and testing. The workspace is clean and spacious, though not temperature controlled, so expect cooler conditions in winter and warmer conditions in summer. Safety is a priority, with steel-toed boots required and protective gear such as safety glasses and hearing protection provided. The dress code is casual, allowing for jeans and appropriate t-shirts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
