Harrison Gray has partnered with a B2B Venture Studio and Strategic Accelerator to find an entrepreneurial Senior Director of Growth Marketing.
Our client is not a traditional agency. They are a "growth-as-a-service" partner that helps B2B organizations move from stagnation to scale by building evidence-based revenue systems. While most firms focus on maintaining existing campaigns, our client specializes in the "zero-to-one" phase—helping companies find their market signal through rapid experimentation before scaling their investment.
The Opportunity: Build the System, Don't Just Manage It
As the Senior Director, you won’t just be managing a budget; you’ll be an architect of growth. You will work directly with founders and executive teams to design, launch, and refine the frameworks that turn marketing spend into compounding returns. You are part growth strategist, part demand generation expert, and part startup operator.
Your Mission
- Rapid Market Validation: Lead 14-day experimentation cycles to test messaging, offers, and channels across the B2B landscape.
- Demand Generation Architecture: Design end-to-end funnels that prioritize qualified pipeline over vanity metrics like impressions or clicks.
- Client Leadership: Act as a strategic partner to C-suite executives, translating complex market data into clear, actionable growth playbooks.
- Full-Stack Execution: Remain hands-on with the tech stack—personally building high-converting landing pages, setting up outbound sequences, and launching paid experiments.
- AI Integration: Champion the use of AI to accelerate creative production, data analysis, and segment targeting to keep the team operating at peak velocity.

- Market Signal > Internal Opinion: They go to market early to let real buyers tell us what works.
- Learning over Scaling: They optimize for insights first; revenue and scale follow naturally once the code is cracked.
- Scrappy Execution: They prefer 20 fast, low-cost tests over one "perfect" polished campaign.
- Systems Thinking: They view marketing and sales as a single, integrated engine for revenue.
The Ideal Profile
- 10–12+ Years of Growth Experience: You have a deep background in demand generation, performance marketing, or digital strategy, ideally within the B2B or SaaS sectors.
- The "Player-Coach" Mentality: You are as comfortable leading a boardroom presentation as you are building a site in Webflow or setting up an Apollo/HubSpot sequence.
- Analytical Rigor: You are obsessed with data but possess the intuition to know when to pivot based on qualitative signals.
- Agile Native: You thrive in fast-paced, high-accountability environments where "done is better than perfect."
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: You may have been a founder yourself, or you simply think like one—always looking for gaps to fill and systems to improve.
