Product Marketing Manager

The Product Marketing Manager will play a key role in shaping how consumers understand and engage with our products, features, and accessories. This role works cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, design, accessories, communications, and marketing teams to uncover compelling product stories and translate complex automotive and technical concepts into clear, engaging marketing communications.

This individual will identify and evaluate marketing opportunities across the organization, build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, and partner closely with creative, brand, communications, and production teams to bring campaigns and launches to life from concept through execution.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing, design, and accessories teams to deeply understand products, innovations, and technical differentiators — and identify compelling storytelling opportunities.
  • Develop product positioning, messaging, content strategy and storytelling frameworks that translate insights from product teams into clear, differentiated marketing briefs.
  • Own the marketing brief process end-to-end, aligning brand, creative, growth, social, PR, and production teams to develop content and deliver work on time and on strategy.
  • Translate complex automotive and technical concepts into simple, compelling consumer-facing narratives.
  • Lead go-to-market planning for launches, product updates and feature rollouts, and new accessories — from strategy through execution.
  • Identify culturally relevant moments to connect product stories to broader brand campaigns and consumer trends.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to continuously sharpen product marketing strategy.

Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably within automotive, consumer technology, or lifestyle brands.
  • Strong understanding of automotive products, vehicle technology, EVs, accessories, or related categories.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills with the ability to simplify technical information for broad audiences.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and collaborating with both creative and technical teams.
  • Proven ability to develop product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments.

Other

  • Some travel required, as needed, to Slate locations, events, and shoots.
