Bookkeeper / Office Manager | Paw Paw, MI
Salary Range: $52,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely payments/collections.
- Process weekly or bi-weekly payroll, including tax filings and employee record maintenance.
- Perform bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and general ledger postings.
- Order and manage inventory of office, breakroom, and essential manufacturing supplies.
- Coordinate facility maintenance, repairs, and vendor services to ensure operational efficiency.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and generate basic financial reports for management.
- Maintain employee records, assist with new hire onboarding, and support benefits administration.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience in full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage general office operations, including administrative support, vendor relations, and supply management.
- Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy in financial records.
- Understanding of basic financial principles (GAAP) and relevant payroll regulations.
- Prior experience working within a manufacturing or production-based environment.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with a manufacturing-specific ERP system (e.g., Epicor, NetSuite, SAP Business One).
- Basic understanding of inventory costing methods and their impact on financial statements.
- Familiarity with HR compliance and benefit administration for a manufacturing workforce.
- Exposure to lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement initiatives.
