Purpose
To coordinate a variety of administrative activities in order to ensure efficient PFC Board of Director processes, and enhance Board communication.
Status
Reports to General Manager
8-10 hours/month
Hourly, Pay Level 2
ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT
A. Coordinate and collaborate with Board members to keep digital and hardcopy Board files organized and up to date. Manage and maintain online Board workspace and Board archive.
B. Update Board calendar, Board task list, and other documents, as needed.
C. Assemble and send packet of materials for monthly Board meetings based on instructions from the Board President or written policy/bylaws.
D. Updating and maintaining Board section of PFC website.
E. Perform other tasks as assigned by the General Manager.

Requirements:The employee must be available to work a flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends.

Interest in PFC governance and Board-level work
Background in administration at an executive level
Accurate attention to detail, multi-task, meets deadlines and manages workflow
Demonstrated organization skills
Effective communication skills, especially writing skills
Ability to work collaboratively with seven or more board members
computer, internet and e-mail access: computer literacy and proficiency, including word processing, spreadsheets and internet search engines
Some availability during business hours: available some evenings and occasionally weekends
Library research skills
Ability to handle multiple demands
