Automotive Collision Technician

Job Summary: Serra Rochester Hills is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Collision Technician to join our team. This full-time, hourly position will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles back to their original condition. • Utilize technical knowledge and skills to efficiently repair and restore damaged vehicles
• Perform thorough inspections and evaluations of vehicles to determine the extent of damage and what repairs are needed
• Ensure all repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining high-quality standards
• Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure all repairs are completed accurately and efficiently
• Utilize all necessary tools and equipment in a safe and responsible manner
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Meet all safety and compliance regulations
• Communicate with customers and provide exceptional customer service throughout the repair process
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technology advancements in the automotive collision repair industry

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a trade school program, apprenticeship, or equivalent work experience as an Automotive Collision Technician
• At least 3 years of experience in automotive collision repair
• Must have all necessary tools to perform the job effectively
• ASE certification in collision repair is preferred
• Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle multiple projects at once
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
