As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help create a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the well-being of those at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the educational facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions, questions, and security-related concerns while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Document and communicate all incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with campus personnel and/or local authorities as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
