Associate creative director ui design - worker

Job Description:

• This is a temporary role starting ASAP through EOY, with the possibility to extend or convert to permanent.
• Full-time: 40 hours per week during business hours.
• An ideal candidate must have a strong UI portfolio showcasing website and mobile apps, quality visual execution, consistency, and strong conceptual thinking.
• Experience with Adobe AEM is a plus
• Must be willing to be hands-on with execution
• W2 only; candidate must be located in the U.S.

Please note:
If you reside in NYC, Chicago, Detroit, or Los Angeles and are within a 90-minute commute to a Dentsu office, this position is hybrid.
If you are outside those areas, there is no expectation to be in the office.

We’re looking for an Associate Creative Director (UI) to lead the design of end-to-end digital experiences across web, mobile, and commerce. This role is a strategic with exceptional UI craft, guiding teams to deliver intuitive, visually compelling solutions that meet user needs and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the creative vision and execution of UI across multiple digital products and platforms.
• Drive user-centered design strategies, from conceptualization to polished visual design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design with business objectives and technical feasibility.
• Present and articulate design rationale to clients and stakeholders with clarity and confidence.

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years in UI design with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end visual design and visual excellence.
• Proven experience leading teams and influencing creative direction.
• Expertise in Figma, design systems, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Strong understanding of responsive web, native apps, and familiarity with front-end technologies.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.

Nice-to-Haves: Agency or consultancy experience, eCommerce background, and interest in AI-driven design.

The hourly pay range for this position is $54.33 - $87.91. The hourly pay rate for the successful candidate is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Temporary employees are eligible for paid holidays in accordance with dentsu policy, as well as safe and sick time. This position is not eligible for any other benefits or other compensation.
