As a Benefit Plan Coordinator , you’ll be a trusted advisor, guiding employers through complex benefit plans while supporting key actuarial and operational processes.

What Will I Do?
???? Build & Manage Employer Relationships
Act as the trusted partner for employers—providing guidance on plan design, compliance, and changes while delivering training and representing MERS at meetings and events.
???? Lead Plan Administration & Implementation
Support the full lifecycle of retirement plans—from onboarding and setup to actuarial coordination, valuations, and ongoing plan enhancements.
???? Partner Across the Organization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams as a subject matter expert, helping to align efforts, improve processes, and support organization-wide initiatives.
✅ Ensure Accuracy, Compliance & Performance
Maintain clean data, ensure regulatory compliance, resolve issues, and keep operations running smoothly while driving continuous improvement and key projects forward (including actuarial timelines and major deliverables).

What Should I Bring with Me?
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience)
- Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team environment
- Customer-focused mindset with relationship management experience
- Preferred: background in employee benefits or retirement plans
