Are you a seasoned Commercial Carpenter looking for an opportunity to showcase your skills and work in a dynamic environment? Halyard is searching for a dedicated and skilled Commercial Carpenter to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in our projects and requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Location: Job sites within Western Michigan

Compensation: $24.00 - $28.00 an hour based on experience plus overtime potential

Carpenter Job Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks as directed by Foreman, Site Superintendents, or Director of Operations such as:
  • Metal framing
  • Insulation
  • Drywall patch & repair
  • Acoustical Ceilings installation.
• Work closely with operations staff to ensure success and the work is performed in a safe & organized manner that meets Halyard’s quality standards

Carpenter Qualifications:

• Experience in metal stud framing (cold-formed framing)
• Commercial construction experience
• Experience with rough and finish carpentry
• Experience with Blueprint reading
• Excels in working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently
• Understands construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule
• Goal-oriented & ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and meet scheduled deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail with emphasis placed on quality
• Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with diverse personalities and effectively communicate with a broad range of people including co-workers, trade partners, & customers
