Salary Range: $67,000 - $100,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the daily operations of the shop floor, ensuring production targets are met.
• Supervise, train, and mentor shop floor employees, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
• Monitor work in progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize workflow and efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
• Manage and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to maximize productivity.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment, coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as production planning and engineering, to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and material usage.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Experience with production planning, scheduling, and quality control procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
• - Experience with preventative maintenance scheduling software
• - Strong understanding of quality control methodologies
• - Proficiency in a specific CAD/CAM software relevant to the industry
• - First Aid/CPR certification
