🌼 Companion Caregiver Opportunity – Afternoon Support for a Kind Senior Recovering at Home (Farmington Hills )
📅 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
📍 Location: Farmington Hills
💲 Pay: $14–$16/hour (based on experience and training)

We’re seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to support a kind senior during recovery. This part-time afternoon position focuses on emotional support, encouragement, and ensuring safety while promoting independence and confidence.

1. Provide emotional and physical support during recovery.

2. Encourage healthy routines — including eating, hydration, and self-care.

3. Offer calm presence and reassurance without pressure or intrusion.

4. Maintain safety and supervision during key activities such as showering or mobility transitions.

6. Keep family informed of meaningful changes or observations that support ongoing care and well-being.

🩵 Caregiver Responsibilities

• Companionship and emotional support

• Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal prep

• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care assistance

• Personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene

• Safe transfers using gait belts and Hoyer lifts (training provided)

• Transporting clients to outings, errands, and appointments

• Promoting safety, dignity, and comfort at all times

✅ Job Requirements

• Strong communication skills (verbal & written)

• Physically able to lift 25 lbs., bend, kneel, and walk throughout the shift

• At least 18 years of age

• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and registration

• Access to a mobile phone for scheduling and communication

• Reliable, punctual, and professional

• Must pass a background check

• Current TB test (can be completed after interview)
