We are looking for a motivated Customer Sales Consultant to join our team in Okemos, Michigan. This is a contract position with the potential for a permanent role, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to sales growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and develop strong client relationships. This position is On-Site , 10:00AM - 6:00PM Monday through Friday; 9:00AM - 4:00PM Saturday
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers in-store and respond to incoming inquiries, providing knowledgeable assistance throughout their experience.
- Present and explain product features, advantages, and warranties to educate customers and support confident decision-making.
- Proactively follow up with leads and maintain consistent communication to nurture strong client relationships throughout the sales process.
- Coordinate project logistics from initial consultation through final install, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction at every stage
- Maintain meticulous records of customer interactions, sales activity, and project status to support effective workflow and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in sales (retail, automotive, hospitality, inside/outside, etc.)
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Demonstrated proficiency in using computer systems and sales tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
- Occasional networking and marketing events, and local travel.
- Design experience is a plus
