Municipalities Representative III - Reporting Analyst The Reporting Business Analyst is responsible for various duties related to Compliance (Issue Management) and financial operations/settlement in support of GES Programs. Responsibilities include collecting, organizing, validating and analyzing data and information from relevant sources for inclusion in reports and/or plans, monthly vendor settlement and monthly financial tasks. Position Responsibilities: - Assist in gathering data and information for taking ownership of projects and tasks related to financial operations and Issue Management.
- Analyze vendor invoices to ensure contract compliance for monthly settlement.
- Create documents for monthly journal entries and financial settlement.
- Responsibility for data quality, data standardization, and representation, support data retention plans, interpret data and metrics to produce valuable insights, identify potential risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Review and strategically analyze data providing credible challenges to, and robust quality checks of results that appear erroneous or exceptional; provides oversight of the validation of data submitted.
- Open and manage Issues through to remediation and closure in Archer.
- Monitor and ensure proper controls are in place to identify and mitigate compliance risks that may lead to regulatory, reputational, or financial exposure.
- Develop ad hoc senior management presentations that showcase trends, patterns of concern, or other relevant information.
- Possess or develop a working knowledge and understanding of consumer regulations especially the Prepaid Rules and apply the knowledge to ensure the program is following all regulations.
Position Qualifications - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or 5 years of experience solving complex customer issues
- 4 years of experience working with customers or vendors on strategic or tactical customer initiatives
- 4 years of experience working with investigative techniques and methods as in an auditing or compliance role
- 4 years of experience working with the application of policies and procedures to retail customer activities
