Practice progressive emergency medicine in two modern hospitals.

The Opportunity
Join a talented emergency team that serves two hospitals:

• Animal Emergency Hospital of Grand Rapids
• Animal Emergency & Specialty Hospital of Byron Center

This position provides variety, collaboration, and the chance to work alongside specialists as well as fellow ER clinicians.

• Doctors typically split time between the Grand Rapids and Byron Center hospitals , with schedules built for work–life balance.
• Full-time ER veterinarians work 12 shifts per month , with flexible trading and generous opportunities to trade shifts or request time off.
• Soft-tissue surgery is preferred —or a willingness to learn is welcomed, with mentorship available.
• A collaborative culture and strong cross-hospital communication ensure doctors are supported at all times, including during overnight coverage.
