The Print Production Coordinator manages print projects from press run initiation through receipt at the Avanti fulfillment facility. As a member of the Production Team, this role coordinates schedules across all print runs, working closely with internal teams and external partners, including printers and finishers. The ideal candidate brings strong print production experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Multi-team coordination between the Production Team, Inventory Team, Product Team, and our various print partners.
• Prepare POs and distribute for all product press runs. Ensure every stage of the press run is completed on-time and delivered as specified. Assist with RFQs and PO writing for sales and marketing materials.
• Compile files, prepare press run layouts, and upload HR-PDFs to partners for all greeting card press runs.
• Request and approve quotes for press runs that include designs with embellishments (i.e., foil stamping, embossing, spot gloss treatments, etc.).
• Route PDFs for internal review for all new product press runs.
• Track online status documents for projects running late and report to the appropriate teams. Attend inventory meetings and keep Production informed of potential issues.
• Review quotes and compare to our cost targets to find potential issues or misunderstandings.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in Print Production, Advertising Production or a print related field
• Open-minded and eager to take on new printing
• Strong project management skills. Capable of overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining organization, and meeting deadlines to keep projects on track.
• Strong communication skills
• Maintain a keen eye for detail, ensure quality control across all aspects of production, from writing POs to final execution.
• Working knowledge of Excel required; familiar with industry-standard software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Teams.
• The ideal candidate must be resourceful and innovative in addressing unexpected production challenges. Learn from these challenges as they arrive to improve processes and outcomes for future projects.
• Flexibility in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to adjust quickly to changing demands and priorities, and ensure projects remain on course despite unforeseen challenges.
