Associate Attorney

Associate Attorney Position

We’re seeking an associate attorney to join our team. A successful candidate will possess the following skills:

• Experience in Probate, Family Law, Estate Planning or Estate Administration.
• Must be in good standing and licensed to practice law in Michigan.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced law firm environment and meet billable hour requirement.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, grasp new concepts quickly, and time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with a team and independently with minimal attorney supervision.
• Manage legal matters assigned from inception to completion, including communicating with clients, team, courts, and opposing counsel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills along with ability to problem solve.
• Meet and represent clients in contested and uncontested hearings.
• Legal document drafting for client signing and filing with various Courts.
• Stay updated on current laws and research laws for various legal pleadings.
• Strong skills in Microsoft office, client management system, etc.
• Maintain professionalism, client privacy, and confidentiality.
• Performs other duties consistent with purpose of job as directed

Compensation & Schedule:

• Full Time (40hours)
• Salary commensurate with experience ($70k-$85k)
• 2weeks of paid vacation (annually)
• Paid Holidays
• 401k (eligible after one year)
• In person position
• Office Hours: Monday-Friday (8:00AM-5:00PM)

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
