Apparel CAD Pattern Technician & Product Development (Part-Time)

Important: This is a hands-on, production-facing role. It is not a design-only or CAD-only position. Candidates must be able to industrial sew and build samples themselves.

Soft Goods is a knitwear-focused cut & sew factory working with established brands nationwide. We handle development and production in-house and are looking for part-time support on technical pattern development and sampling. Hours are flexible and based on active projects.
Role
- Review client samples and translate them into production-ready patterns
- Create, adjust, and grade digital patterns
- Sew and construct samples to test fit, construction, and production feasibility
- Work closely with the production team to refine build methods
Requirements
- Proficiency in apparel CAD software (StyleCAD a big plus)
- Strong pattern making, grading, and garment construction skills
- Industrial sewing experience required
- Comfortable working in a factory environment
- Knitwear experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
