About the Opportunity

A growing steel manufacturing operation in Dearborn, MI is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support plant startup and ongoing operations. This role is ideal for a licensed electrician with strong industrial troubleshooting skills, PLC exposure, and experience working in heavy manufacturing environments.

This is a high-impact opportunity to join a new facility during its growth phase, helping establish safe, reliable, and efficient electrical systems from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

● Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems in a heavy manufacturing environment

● Diagnose and repair motors, drives, control panels, power distribution systems, and automated equipment

● Troubleshoot PLC systems, most commonly Allen-Bradley (Rockwell) and/or Siemens

● Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams

● Support startup, commissioning, and ongoing plant operations

● Ensure compliance with safety standards including NFPA 70E and OSHA regulations

● Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability

● Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to resolve electrical issues quickly and safely

What You Bring

● 5–8 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment

● Michigan Journeyman Electrician License or Master Electrician License (LARA required)

● Strong PLC troubleshooting exposure (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell and/or Siemens preferred)

● NFPA 70E / Arc Flash training

● OSHA 10 minimum (OSHA 30 preferred)

● Experience in steel, metals, or heavy industrial environments strongly preferred

● Ability to work flexible shifts as needed

● Strong troubleshooting mindset and commitment to safety
