Job Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker where you will play a crucial role in the assembly and disassembly of engines for the automotive industry. This position offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment, ideal for individuals who thrive in an operational setting. You will be working with materials and handling equipment, contributing to the efficient movement and shipment of engine components.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble engines, ensuring all components are correctly placed and secured.
• Apply coolant and perform leak tests on engine components to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Operate forklifts, tuggers, and cherry pickers to transport engines within the warehouse.
• Handle materials efficiently, ensuring timely shipping of engines to designated locations.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience in a production or warehouse environment.
• 1+ years of experience in machine operation and/or forklift/Hi-Lo operation.
• High School Diploma or GED.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lansing, MI.

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.25/hr.
