Salary Range: $45,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Charlotte that are seeking Quality Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products against specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM) to verify product conformance.
• Document inspection results accurately in quality records, databases, and reports.
• Identify, tag, and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective action procedures.
• Assist in the investigation of quality issues and participate in root cause analysis.
• Conduct routine calibration checks and maintain the calibration status of inspection and test equipment.
• Support the maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or quality control role.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical comparators).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Basic understanding of quality control principles, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and root cause analysis.
• Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data analysis.
• ASQ certification (e.g., CQT, CQIA) or Six Sigma Green Belt.
• Proficiency in CMM operation or programming.
• Experience with root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Why).
• Internal auditing experience for ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
