Line Cook – Mad Nice Coffee

At Mad Nice Coffee, we're passionate about creating elevated café experiences that feel fresh, vibrant, and welcoming. As a Line Cook, you'll play a vital role in delivering consistently high-quality food, working closely with our culinary team to prepare and execute our menu with precision and care.

The primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Execute daily prep and line cooking tasks with attention to detail and consistency

• Assist in the preparation and execution of breakfast, lunch, and evening items, including pastries, sandwiches, and seasonal menu offerings

• Demonstrate basic pastry and baking knowledge (e.g. bagels, pastries, glazes, compotes)

• Follow recipes and presentation guidelines to Mad Nice Coffee standards

• Maintain proper portion control, ingredient handling, and plating techniques

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Communicate with team members and kitchen leadership to ensure smooth service

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized station

• Monitor inventory levels and communicate low-stock items to management

• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards (HAACP)

• Safely and properly use kitchen tools and equipment

• Support kitchen leadership with recipe testing and new menu item development

• Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive work culture

• Follow all company policies, procedures, and core values

• Take initiative and demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and strong work ethic

• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
