At WECTEC Staffing Services, part of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, your work helps power a cleaner future. You'll shape how complex electrical scopes are planned and executed, ensuring safe, efficient work that meets standards and schedules.

Your impact

Own the planning lifecycle—from scope definition through execution—by producing clear work packages for vendor and craft teams, grounded in AP-930. You'll ensure compliance with codes, standards, vendor recommendations, and maintenance direction while keeping milestones on track for both online and outage work.

Key responsibilities

• Create step-by-step electrical work instructions and task sequencing for modifications and major scopes.
• Perform field walkdowns to validate scope and enhance package quality.
• Facilitate work breakdown structure discussions and close gaps with work management, operations, engineering, and vendor/craft supervision.
• Identify required parts, tools, and materials; make procurement recommendations and selections.
• Use Maximo and the Action Way (Corrective Action Program) to manage work data and actions.
• Support outage schedule rotation and plan tasks that may involve hazardous areas with possible radiation exposure within NRC limits.

Experience & qualifications

• Associate degree in a physical science or engineering discipline, or equivalent nuclear maintenance technical training/equipment experience.
• 5 years of power plant maintenance or operations experience, with 3 years in a nuclear plant environment.
• Ability to interpret drawings; strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior Maximo use is highly desired.
