About the Role

As an Insurance Agent at the Mitch Jones Agency, you’ll work directly under a seasoned agency owner, getting firsthand experience in every aspect of building and operating a thriving insurance business. You’ll master client relations, sales, operations, and leadership—setting the stage for you to eventually own your own Farmers Insurance agency!

Your journey starts with in-depth training and support, guiding you from agent to entrepreneur under the trusted Farmers banner.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow your client base through networking, prospecting, and community engagement

• Deliver expert guidance on insurance options, tailoring solutions for each unique client

• Forge lasting relationships with clients through regular communication and policy reviews

• Consistently exceed sales targets while ensuring long-term client satisfaction

• Learn the ins and outs of agency operations, strategic planning, and leadership

• Keep up with the latest industry trends and Farmers Insurance offerings

What We’re Looking For

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

• Entrepreneurial spirit with a hunger for ownership

• Proven ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

• Prior sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required

• Willingness to obtain (or currently hold) state insurance licenses (Property & Casualty, Life & Health)

• Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply
