Position Overview

• Flexibility Required:
• On-call
• Days, afternoons, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stay late when cases run longer
• Setting: Diagnostic & interventional special procedures, with general radiology as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Perform specialized radiographic diagnostic and interventional procedures under physician supervision
• Verify and follow referring provider orders using independent clinical judgment
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images and ensure timely submission for interpretation
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and expectations
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation
• Perform equipment quality control checks; troubleshoot issues and escalate when necessary
• Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards and maintain a safe environment
• Uphold ethical, legal, and professional radiology practice standards, including confidentiality
• Monitor and maintain supply inventory to ensure continuous department workflow
• Provide additional support and perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Cath Lab experience – Required
• AHA BLS – Required
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program – Required
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) – Required
• Minimum 1 year of related experience – Required
