Your Role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector to be responsible for auditing processes and products on the production floor and will report to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.

This is a 2nd shift opportunity: 2:00-10:30pm

What you will do:

• You will perform quality inspections on the production floor to ensure product conformity, procedures and instructions are being followed.

• You will initiate containment and certification activity when non-conformances are identified.

• Update product inventory status in system and records non-conforming product in quality management system

• Approve and release product in system and updates inventory status accordingly.

• Analyze and report inspection results to the production and quality teams.

• Escalate inspections results and non-conformances.

• You will train and support personnel in quality related training.

• Support customer concern investigations and manufacturing quality issues

• Participate in internal quality programs.

• Support product inspection and scheduled product audits as required.

• Perform other related responsibilities

To succeed, you will need

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure quality

• Experience using micrometers, calipers and gauges preferred.

• Experience using Syspro or similar business systems preferred.

• Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to maintain professional behavior in all situations.

• Prioritize assignments.

• Organized, with excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to achieve targets.

• Working knowledge of quality systems preferred.
