ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for local pick-ups and deliveries using the company truck.
- Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
- Places incoming material, components or parts in parts room, warehouse or storage areas.
- Pulls material, components, or parts for jobs, shop orders, and work orders for all production areas.
- Assembles wood or cardboard containers or selects pre-assembled containers. Nails cover on wooden crates and binds containers with metal tape using strapping machine.
- General housekeeping of area.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, get along with co-workers, and deal with colleagues effectively and professionally.
- A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required.

Experience
One to two years related experience
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Certificates & Licenses
Valid Michigan Driver's License and valid CDL endorsement.
Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card.
Ability to pass Hi-Lo Driver Exam and receive a Hi-lo License.
Other Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The
employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
