Position Summary
We are seeking a Front Desk Coordinator / Receptionist to own the patient experience from first touch through check-out .
This is not just an admin role—this person is critical to clinic flow, scheduling efficiency, and revenue capture .
What You’ll Do
- Greet patients and create a welcoming, professional experience
- Manage scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling to maximize clinic utilization
- Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
- Verify insurance and collect copays at time of visit
- Ensure accurate patient intake and documentation
- Coordinate with clinical team to keep schedules full and on track
- Identify and fill open slots proactively

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in customer service, admin, or healthcare front desk

- Experience with medical scheduling or insurance verification
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems (athenahealth a plus)
