Now Hiring: Overnight Weekend Veterinary Support Team Member
Parkway Small Animal & Exotic Hospital – Clinton Township, MI

Are you a night owl who stays cool in the chaos and loves helping people? Parkway Small Animal & Exotic Hospital is launching a brand-new Overnight Emergency Service , and we’re looking for a Veterinary Support Team Member to be the first warm, calm voice pet parents hear when they walk in—or call—in a crisis.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Greeting and checking in emergency clients with empathy and professionalism

• Answering calls, triaging concerns, and relaying information to the medical team

• Processing payments and maintaining accurate medical records

• Supporting the team with administrative and light clinical tasks

• Keeping the lobby calm, clean, and welcoming—even in high-stress situations

Schedule:

• Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday overnight shifts

• Consistent weekend schedule with some flexibility

• Additional shifts may be available if desired

Who You Are:

• Experienced in customer service (veterinary or medical preferred—but not required)

• Comfortable in fast-paced, emotionally intense situations

• Clear communicator with a calm, professional demeanor

• Detail-oriented and tech-savvy (experience with veterinary software a plus)

• Passionate about animals and helping people in difficult moments
