CNC Machining

Rate of pay will depend on experience and skill.

Hiring at our Gibraltar and Taylor location.

Shifts Available:

6:00am-4:30pm

3:30pm-2:00am

Functions:

• Must be able to set-up and run Horizontal and/or VTL Lathes.
• Ability to identify non-conforming parts. Analyze results of coordinate measuring machines and execute proper tool wear offset adjustments at controller.
• Able to make your own tools (example chuck jaws or fixtures) specific to your own jobs.
• Ability to consistently work to tight tolerances.
• Strong trouble shooting skills.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
• Able to meet productivity requirements.
• Ability to communicate and council other operators in the department.
• Programming is a plus!

Competencies:

• Configure CNC machines, load materials, and execute machining processes.
• Programming & Adjustments – software for optimal performance.
• Quality Control – Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance – Identify and resolve machine issues, perform routine maintenance.
• Safety & Compliance – Follow workplace safety protocols and industry regulations.
