We are seeking a talented Litigation Legal Assistant to support two partners in a specialized area of litigation. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking for both stability and career growth.

Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will bring experience in a high-volume, fast-paced litigation practice. Knowledge of both state and federal court procedures—within Michigan and in other jurisdictions—is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Providing legal and administrative support to assigned attorneys and the Office Manager
• Drafting and preparing correspondence, pleadings, and legal documents
• Handling conflict checks and preparing supporting documentation for new clients
• E-filing and physical filing with appropriate court systems
• Docketing critical dates into a centralized system
• Coordinating travel arrangements and processing expense reimbursements
• Communicating with clients and responding to attorney calls
• Organizing and maintaining attorney files and client information
• Entering attorney time for billing purposes
• Offering support to other attorneys, legal assistants, and staff as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of litigation experience.

• Excellent computer skills utilizing MS Word, Outlook, and related MS software.

• Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.

• Excellent prioritization skills and the ability to manage a high-volume and diverse workload for multiple

people.

• Excellent organizational skills.
