Role Purpose:
Client's Salesforce system is a cloud-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform that enables businesses to manage customer data, sales operations, and marketing campaigns and is a critical application for company's digital transformation to enable annual recurring revenue.

As a talented and passionate member of an agile capability team you will have the opportunity to design, develop and deploy leading edge engineering and product configuration solutions that will deliver value to our customers. The team leverages multiple technologies including Jira for work management, GitHub for source tracking, Gearset for deployment services and Own Backup for data management.

Key Responsibilities:
The Salesforce Engineer is responsible for successfully designing and implementing solutions that enable business objectives and outcomes. The technologies include but are not necessarily limited to Salesforce.com products and APIs, Apex/Visualforce, Lightning, and integration/ETL technologies.

The Engineer would also serve as a SF platform subject matter expert, collaborating with Solution Architects, Technical Leaders, Business Analysts, Product Owners and other Developers to provide the technical solution to complex business needs.

The Engineer will configure and enhance Salesforce Clouds emphasis on Service Cloud but could include Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Analytics Cloud.

They will also act as a technical subject matter expert on internal initiatives, collaborating with teams to ensure the growth of Salesforce platform knowledge.

The Engineer will also be responsible for supporting release management across lower environments and production.

The Engineer will be expected to follow best practices including but not limited to:

• Configuration over customization

• Test driven development

• Accurate estimation and quality gates

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or a related field

• 3+ years of Salesforce development experience

• Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com, Apex programming language, Lightning Components, Visualforce, Salesforce data and security models, and Salesforce APIs

• Experience in Salesforce Service Cloud implementations including Case Management, Email-to-Case, Web-to-Case, CTI integration, Self-Service, and Knowledge Management

• Experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud implementations including Leads, Opportunities, Forecasting, Quotes, and Campaigns

• Experience with integration middleware (REST, SOAP, ETL, MuleSoft, Informatica, Dell Boomi, etc.)

• Experience with Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Triggers, Workflows, Process Builder, and Flows

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and prior experience working in Agile teams

• Proficiency in writing Unit Tests and performing System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

• Commitment to best practices, documentation, and knowledge sharing
