Location: Redford, MI

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay: $27.00 – $31.00/hour

Job Type: Full-Time

About the Opportunity

A growing manufacturing company in Redford, MI is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its first-shift maintenance team. This is a hands-on role responsible for keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
• Perform welding repairs and light fabrication as needed
• Install, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment
• Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment
• Work closely with production personnel to maximize equipment uptime
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Complete additional maintenance tasks as assigned

What You Bring

• 2–5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Electrical troubleshooting experience is required
• Welding experience is required
• Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience maintaining forging, stamping, or heavy press equipment is a plus
