NOW HIRING!! A-Line is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Manager / Service Writer to oversee day-to-day office operations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, communicate effectively with customers and internal teams, and maintain accurate records throughout the service process.

Office Manager / Service Writer

Location: Saint Clair Shores, MI
Pay: $22.00–$25.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview

The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-focused, and eager to contribute ideas that improve office efficiency and workflow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding services, pricing, project details, and job status
  • Perform daily data entry, including customer information, invoices, job tracking, and file management
  • Maintain clear communication with ownership regarding scheduling, project details, and documentation
  • Coordinate daily job intake and assist with building and maintaining production schedules
  • Work collaboratively with owners and managers to ensure smooth office operations
  • Prepare sales estimates, quotes, invoices, and follow-up communications
  • Utilize and maintain the company CRM system
  • Keep customer files and project documentation organized and up to date
  • Help maintain a clean, professional office and showroom environment
  • Recommend process improvements to increase office and production efficiency

Qualifications

  • Previous administrative experience preferred (5+ years)
  • Previous Office Manager experience preferred (5+ years)
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable learning new systems and processes quickly
  • Experience working with CRM software
  • Knowledge of Mac operating systems preferred
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Additional Information
