Requirements:

Electrician must meet the following requirements:

• Must know industrial electrical codes.
• Knowledge of drive units for motors.
• Knowledge of DC magnets and magnetic controls is a plus.
• Be able to Source electrical components required for all upgrades.
• Must be familiar with auto cad (we use promise-E software)
• Must be Familiar with Allen Bradley Eaton & Square D.
• Must be Familiar with Compacc RS View & RS Logix software RS 500, and able to manipulate.
• Be able to wire electrical panels by blue print.
• Be able to wire machines, mount electrical enclosures, working with the machine build team.
• Be able to trouble shoot and repair electrical problems.
• Be self-sufficient in the electrical department.
• Be able to go out on field service for electrical repairs. (Some overnight as required)
• Be self-sufficient on field service repairs.

• Additional Requirements:
• 2 years or more of work experience in machine electrical panel building, device wiring, wire terminating and debugging, OR 3rd party trade school\program credentials or state license.
• Skills and working knowledge to layout panels, assembly and wiring the same, using electrical schematics prints (ladder diagrams).
• Good understanding of industrial machine tool electrical codes; NFPA 79, NEC, etc.
• Having a good mechanical aptitude in machine tools would be a plus.
• Ability to perform some light field work, as required. There may be a rare occasion for out of the country field work.
• Possess good communication and customer relationship skill sets.
• Ability to work independent, with little direct supervision.
• A valid driver license with no major violation or infractions in the past 5 years.
• Must have your own hand tools to perform above electrical work.
• Must have dependable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a drug test, which includes Marijuana.
• Must be a United States Citizen or authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibilities:

• Design new electrical packages, based on old prints, and update prints with new B.O.M.
• Be able to integrate safety systems to old machines and circuits Mount electrical enclosures, working with the machine build team.
• Assist other machine build team members in their efforts and functions when directed or requested.
• Other related tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
