Salary Range: $114,000 - $163,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of manufacturing engineers.
• Oversee and execute engineering projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Provide technical guidance and problem-solving to optimize production efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align engineering strategies with business objectives.
• Manage departmental budget, resources, and capital expenditure planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven technical expertise in manufacturing engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical, electrical, industrial, process) with direct experience in production operations.
• Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, and developing engineering teams, including project lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and process optimization within a production setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of implementing effective engineering solutions to complex manufacturing challenges.
• Experience with manufacturing automation, industrial controls, and the implementation of new technologies to enhance production efficiency.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with ERP/MES system implementation or optimization.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and technologies (e.g., IoT, AI in manufacturing).
• Background in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, aerospace).
