Production Blending Operator, Up to $25/hr – Wixom, MI

Qualifications:

• Set up production equipment and ensure all supplies are ready before executing job orders
• Operate production machines effectively and safely following company guidelines
• Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions
• Adhere to all company safety procedures, especially those involving hazardous materials
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized at all times
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned, including process improvement and special projects
• Maintain good communication with team members and supervisors
  

Skills:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 6 months to 1 year of production operation experience required; chemical production experience is a plus
• Basic math skills required, must be able to do conversions
• Ability to operate production machines and handle chemicals safely
• Forklift certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and technical communication ability
• Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 60 lbs, and distinguish color differences
• Must be comfortable wearing PPE including safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe shoes, hazmat, and respiratory masks
