Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position runs for the duration of the normal school year, providing a structured environment to make a meaningful impact on student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, and families to support student learning and behavioral goals
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to address diverse learning styles and abilities
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching approaches accordingly
• Maintain accurate documentation and municate regularly with stakeholders regarding student achievements and challenges
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and independence

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification appropriate for K-12 education
• Experience working with a range of disabilities and understanding of current special education laws and practices
• Strong munication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively and positively
