LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Family Law Paralegal to support attorneys for a law firm in Lansing, MI. This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years of experience in Family Law , who is organized, tech-savvy, and passionate about client service.
Key Responsibilities:Manage family law caseloads from intake through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, subpoenas, and affidavits
Support attorneys through discovery and trial prep, including deposition summaries and exhibit prep
File documents with state and federal courts via e-filing systems
Maintain case deadlines and docketing systems
Conduct legal research and prepare case memos
Track billable time and assist with pre-bill reviews
Collaborate with attorneys and firm staff to support client goals
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required; ABA-approved paralegal program preferred
Minimum 2 years of Family Law paralegal experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and legal tech platforms
Strong legal writing, research, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and sensitive client matters
Litigation experience is a plus

Salary: $60,000–$70,000+ (based on experience)
