LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Family Law Paralegal to support attorneys for a law firm in Lansing, MI. This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years of experience in Family Law , who is organized, tech-savvy, and passionate about client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage family law caseloads from intake through resolution

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, subpoenas, and affidavits

• Support attorneys through discovery and trial prep, including deposition summaries and exhibit prep

• File documents with state and federal courts via e-filing systems

• Maintain case deadlines and docketing systems

• Conduct legal research and prepare case memos

• Track billable time and assist with pre-bill reviews

• Collaborate with attorneys and firm staff to support client goals

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required; ABA-approved paralegal program preferred

• Minimum 2 years of Family Law paralegal experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and legal tech platforms

• Strong legal writing, research, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and sensitive client matters

• Litigation experience is a plus

Salary: $60,000–$70,000+ (based on experience)
Status: Full-Time | Hybrid Schedule Available
