Shop Foreman (Sheet Metal Fabrication)
Pay: $25–$35/hr. (based on experience)
Schedule: 1st shift, flexible hours (7:00am–4:00pm or 8:00am–5:00pm), Mon–Friday
Location: Grand Rapids/Allendale, MI area

Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to lead daily shop operations and ensure high-quality sheet metal fabrication work. This role supervises shop/field priorities, supports production teams, and coordinates job completion with customers and internal partners.

Responsibilities

• Supervise fabrication operations, welding/assembly, and daily workflow priorities
• Read/interpret blueprints and specifications; support layout and production needs
• Schedule shop and field work; coordinate completion with sales/customers
• Oversee shipping/receiving, inventory control, and quality control
• Process purchase orders and complete required paperwork between shop and office
• Approve employee time in an online timekeeping system
• Communicate via email; maintain safe work practices

Requirements

• Sheet metal fabrication background + leadership/foreman experience (5+ years preferred)
• Ability to read blueprints and manage production priorities
• Strong organization, reliability, and team leadership skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Comfortable with MS Office
• High school diploma/GED (or equivalent experience)
• Must pass a non-DOT pre-employment drug screen
