Inside Parts Sales

With multiple locations across West Michigan, we offer an extensive range of services including truck sales, leasing/rental, financing, parts delivery, and more. We are currently seeking a Parts Sales person to play a key role in our growth and success. Responsibilities

• Manage the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding parts status.
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with staff and customers.
• Utilize the parts catalog to look up parts.
• Provide price quotes and other information over the phone.
• Review body shop estimates to ensure correct parts ordering and pricing.
• Deliver high-level service to both internal and external customers.
• Fill orders from stock and maintain weekly bin checks for stock accuracy.
• Notify the parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that require immediate attention.
• Process emergency orders for out-of-stock parts from external sources, if necessary.
• Ensure all internal parts requests are billed on service repair orders.
• Handle payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.
• Prepare orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
• Commit to continuous learning about our inventory and product lines.
• Respond promptly to changes in the market.
• Set and achieve personal and company goals.

Qualifications

• Effective communication skills via phone, email, and text.
• A positive, can-do attitude with a focus on customer service.
• Prior experience with Heavy Equipment, Agricultural Equipment, RVs parts.
• Knowledge of Heavy Duty Truck Parts Products.
• Ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
• Technical skills, including proficiency with MS Office products and web-based applications.
• Must have 2 or more years experience in similar position.
