Marketing strategy coordination specialist

COMPANY OVERVIEW: MOBIS Technical Center of North America is the Research & Development Center for Hyundai MOBIS, a Tier 1 supplier and an affiliate under Hyundai Motor Group. MOBIS produces and supplies a wide variety of automotive components to customers including component modules (chassis, cockpit and front-end module), core system, eco-friendly and DAS-mechatronics. Mobis delivers the design and development of advanced engineering, autonomous driving, infotainment, component modules, safety, brake and steering systems, lamp, ICS/electronics and software development solutions that consider the safety and convenience of our customers as well as the future. Essential Functions And Skills Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:- Analyze the competitive landscape and technology trends in the automotive industry to develop and execute actionable strategic marketing plans for North American market.
- Collaborate with key account managers and executives to drive product sales and capture voice of customers (VoC) feedback to inform marketing strategies.
- Lead and support promotional events (e.g. CES, tech shows, road shows, conferences) in partnership with the global marketing team at HQ in Korea.
- Act as the North American market subject matter expert (SME), closely liaising with marketing, planning, and engineering teams in Korea to identify and promote advanced products.
- Manage administrative and financial workflow for prototype (Pre-SOP) samples, including processing accounts receivable/payable (AR/AP) and resolving financial issues related to invoicing with the finance team.
- Support budget planning and take ownership of budget monitoring and expense processing for sales activities and CEO accounts.
- Bilingual in English and Korean (written and verbal) is essential for frequent collaboration with HQ and Korean teams.
- Familiarity with analyzing market trends and OEM strategies.
- Ability to interpret and enter financial data into ERP system (e.g. SAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, tasks relating to the following area will be assigned as required.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Be reliable (with reliable mode of transportation.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years (7+ years preferred) of combined experience in product development, project management, or product marketing in EV/xHEV, IVI, SDV, Chassis, Lighting, or ADAS/AV domains.
- Automotive OEM sales experience is a significant plus.
- MBA degree is preferred.
- Ability to sit for extended periods, use a computer and phone daily, and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs. (e.g., prototype samples or event materials).
- 40 hours per week (must have a willingness to participate in occasional meetings with Korean teams during evening or nighttime hours.)
- Possible extended hours during promotional events.
- Office work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.
