Prefabricator
We are seeking a dedicated Prefabricator for a 1st shift position. The role involves working from Monday to Thursday, with potential overtime on Friday, which will be communicated by Wednesday morning. This opportunity requires candidates to start their first day at 5 am, where they will undergo a paid training and evaluation session on the shop floor for 8 hours. Successful candidates will be invited to continue their journey with us.
Responsibilities- Perform prefabrication tasks, including pre-assembling parts for the assembly area.
- Strip wire, add crimps, and demonstrate hand-eye coordination to add pin connectors and torque connectors.
- Assemble various components and smaller parts for the assembly lines.
- Unbox parts and install them on other components.
- Conduct basic assembly tasks.
- Blueprint or schematic reading.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Experience using basic hand tools.
- Willingness to learn crimping devices, wire machines, and strip machines.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Prior experience in assembly or a related field is beneficial.
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.

Work EnvironmentOur facility is clean and requires manual labor, including lifting up to 40 lbs. Work as a team on the assembly line and during wire spooling. The environment is casual, with a dress code requiring shirts with sleeves and steel toe boots. You may wear headphones, using one bud during work. Safety glasses and gloves are provided if needed. The shop is non-temperature controlled, with fans to maintain comfort. Each team consists of roughly 4-6 persons, with a total of 20 people on the 1st shift. We're in the process of building up our team, and referrals are welcomed.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
