Printer Support Technician

Compensation: $43,000 annual salary + $750/month car & phone stipend ($52,000 guaranteed pay, plus additional bonus opportunities)

Location: West Michigan (field service role, travel required)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Printer Support Technician to join our field service team. This role involves supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting multifunction printers (MFPs) and printers for business clients across West Michigan. The right candidate will bring both technical knowledge and a strong customer-first mindset to ensure an excellent client experience.

Responsibilities

Daily

• Provide professional, timely, and courteous on-site support to business clients.
• Perform complete proactive service calls, ensuring devices run at peak performance.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to printers, MFPs, and connected environments.
• Maintain accurate tool and parts inventory within assigned car stock.

Weekly

• Meet and maintain service performance metrics and reporting requirements.

Monthly

• Audit and maintain car stock accuracy with less than 5% variation.

Equipment & Tools

• HP, Xerox
• Computer/networking knowledge required for troubleshooting connectivity.
• Use of manufacturer support portals, diagnostic tools, and bonus incentive programs.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 2 years in a technical role (printer/MFP experience preferred), or mechanically inclined with a strong willingness to learn.
• Travel: Must have valid driver’s license, a working vehicle and ability to travel daily across West Michigan.
