Your day, engineered for precision

Walk into a clean, organized fabrication floor in Allegan, power up a hydraulic CNC press brake, and take ownership of the first piece. You select the tooling, dial in your offsets, verify critical angles with a protractor, check dimensions with calipers and gauges, and compare the part to the traveler and work order. When the part meets print, you run the job confidently, document your checks, and keep production flowing. If something does not look right, you pause, troubleshoot, and collaborate to protect quality.

What you will handle

• Set up and run hydraulic CNC press brakes, choosing the correct tooling and making precise adjustments
• Read and apply blueprints, job travelers, and work orders to produce parts that meet specs
• Form a variety of materials and thicknesses to exacting tolerances
• Inspect work using calipers, protractors, gauges, and other precision metrology tools
• Troubleshoot forming issues and communicate quality concerns promptly
• Keep your cell and surrounding area orderly and safe
• Pitch in with other fabrication departments when needed

• Several years of hands-on press brake experience in fabrication or manufacturing
• Confident blueprint reading and interpretation
• Proven ability to perform independent setups and run production
• Comfort holding tight tolerances and using precision measurement tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and reliable attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical demands

• Standing for extended periods
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Working in a shop setting with noise, dust, and metal debris

Schedule and pay

• 1st shift, 40 hours per week
• Overtime as needed
• Pay based on experience and skill level
